The project explores how overlooked vertical spaces in the urban home can become functional, adaptable living areas. Inspired by rising living costs and the growing shift toward studio and micro-apartments, the work investigates how compact homes can offer more than just efficiency — creating accessible storage while supporting everyday activities within a limited footprint.

The final outcome is På sin höjd: an open wardrobe crafted in ash, designed for easy assembly and disassembly so it can move with you through different stages of life rather than being left behind.

Built with flexibility in mind, På sin höjd adapts to changing needs. The removable middle shelf allows space for taller objects, while the low back panels prevent items from falling behind the unit. A deliberate gap between the shelves and the back panels also makes cleaning and maintenance simple, ensuring the piece remains practical in everyday use.

More than a storage solution, the project reflects a new approach to living small, where thoughtful design transforms unused vertical space into something both beautiful and useful.
