Nexus

Centralized Kitchen System

Nexus is a modular kitchen appliance system built around a single, high-quality motor unit that powers a range of purpose-built attachments. Each appliance contains its own gearing and structure, while a flexible shaft transfers power from the motor, allowing for adaptable positioning and a consistent interface across the system. This approach separates power from form, reducing redundancy while enabling each appliance to operate within its specific speed and torque requirements. The current presentation focuses on a motor unit, a stand mixer, and a blender as proof of concept. In practice, Nexus would extend into a full kitchen line.
