Koenigsegg Variera

A Koenigsegg like no other.

The Koenigsegg Variera project is an official collaboration with Koenigsegg, aimed at designing and visualizing what a fully electric Koenigsegg could look like for an entirely new market segment and a new entry-level customer base. The Variera combines self-driving technology with traditional driving to preserve the spirit of Koenigsegg's performance mindsetÑcapturing the best of both worlds.

The design process for the Koenigsegg Variera involved analyzing Koenigsegg's existing design language and applying it in a new way to the Variera. This included traditional hand sketches, digital sketches and combinations of both, as well as receiving feedback from Koenigsegg.

For 3D modeling Fusion 360 and Blender were used. A major part of the project involved learning Blender from scratch. Once the digital process was completed, 3D printing was used to create the physical scale model of the Koenigsegg Variera.
