Extruded Heritage
A shell, columns and red wooden houses
An exploration of how heritage can be extruded into new forms and textures through reinterpretations of overlooked artifacts and forgotten narratives. Inspired by the cultural heritage of Hälsingland, this project bridges past and present through fragments such as a tile-stove shell, columns, and a process of clay extrusion. The result is presented as two conceptual tables, where light birch and red terracotta echo the character of the region’s red wooden houses.
