Earth to Earth

Earth to Earth Project, where students from the Master’s program in Industrial Design showcase their work. The assignment emphasizes understanding and address global challenges on a systemic level. Within the project, students are free to choose an activity or area of interest to explore, provided that the final product can, at the end of its lifecycle, be placed in a forest to return to the earth. All projects must exhibit a strongly cyclical nature and be made from beech wood.

This project was a collaboration together with Skogsstyrelsen Skåne and organised by the organisation SPOK and was featured at the PRO BOK exhibition in Malmö. The initiative showcased the potential of locally sourced beech wood for future design and construction.

This project is also being showcased as part of Stockholm Furniture Fair 2025.
