Back to your roots aims to minimize food waste by enabling you to easily store food at home in the proper conditions; dark but with adequate airflow. The project highlights Swedish produce such as root vegetables, onions and potatoes; common ingredients in Swedish traditional cooking, and gives them a dedicated place in the kitchen.
The pattern on the storage boxes is inspired by the system of rows often used in farming, and is applied to the product using CNC milling in a two step process.
