Xinyi Liu's project NODE received great attention on social media.

A great design by one of our Master’s students goes viral and breaks every record of the School of Industrial Design’s Instagram account – lusid.se.

Master's student Xinyi Liu recently posted about her latest project NODE on Instagram — and over the past few weeks, that post has absolutely taken off. It has now gone viral, reaching:

  • 170 000 views
  • 6 000+ likes
  • 2 000 new followers gained for the account

In the spotlight is NODE, an outdoor furniture system designed to make public spaces more inviting and versatile. Inspired by temporary city fencing, NODE is highly mobile and can be easily reconfigured to support different activities and needs.

Huge congratulations to Xinyi Liu for not only creating a versatile design for public spaces, but also for inspiring thousands of people online.
