'From now on' – exhibition at Form/Design Centre in Malmö

Industrial Design students are exhibiting their project ‘From now on’ in Malmö 11 April – 30 May.

'From now on' is a project by students at the School of Industrial Design at Lund University, in which historical civilisations serve as a starting point for exploring more circular and sustainable ways of organising today’s society.

The students have drawn inspiration from ancient civilisations as well as historical cultures. Based on economic, social and environmental aspects, the students have developed concepts inspired by the past, and which we can reintroduce and use ‘from now on’.

The material used is mainly wood (alder), which all previous cultures had access to and which supports and facilitates keeping resource flows local and small-scale.

You can visit the exhibition at Form/Design Centre in Malmö 11 April – 30 May 2026.
